Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or MS in Engineering or equivalent  

• 5 years of experience in managing Linux based infrastructure  

• 5 years of hands-on experience at least in one scripting language  

• 5 years of hands-on experience with at least one of public cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure)  

• 3 years experience in managing software release and source code control with GIt  

• Knowledge of Java/JVM based languages  

• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success  

• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills  

• Team player  

• Good time-management skills  

• Interpersonal and communication skills 

Responsibilities 

• Utilize various open source technologies to support helios' development infrastructure  

• Use various tools to orchestrate helios' cloud and on-perm product offers  

• Build independent web-based tools, microservices and solutions  

• Write scripts and automation using Python/Javascript/Bash  

• Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Spark, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop, etc  

• Understand how various systems work  

• Understand how IT operations are managed  

• Manage source control and release process with GIT
