Helios Data is rapidly accelerating its growth and is adding to all its engineering and customer facing teams. You will help us build the next-generation infrastructure that will deliver world class performance and scalability as the company grows across all dimensions (data volume, number of enterprises deployments, number of product offerings). You have the opportunity to join a small, early-stage team, working on multiple critical functional areas and lay the foundation for Helios Data's business success. 

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience 

• Extensive experiences in building and owning critical backend data storage systems, and solving complex design, scaling, latency, or performance problems in high-volume low-latency distributed systems 

• Strong machine learning or computer network domain expertise is a plus - they will be collaborating closely with product and quality engineering teams to continuously innovate and optimize our ads infrastructure 

• Proficiency in at least one of the systems languages (Java, C++, Go) 

Responsibilities 

• Define and execute vision for evolving the infrastructure that forms the foundation of Helios Data 

• Own and innovate the core functional areas of Helios Data infrastructure, on-prem and SaaS based big data infrastructure 

• Re-architect infrastructure services/components to achieve greater scalability, freshness, performance, efficiency, and reliability 

• Develop processes to systematically evaluate the Helios Data infrastructure for regressions in system performance and key business metrics
