As the Head of Product Management, you and your team will be responsible for the end to end Helios Data platform. Our ideal candidate will have already led teams to build successful data management and compliance products in agile software development environments. You will guide new product development through all stages of the product life cycle, from the identification of customer needs and product definition through development, launch, and sustainment. This is a highly cross-functional role and you will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, customer success, and business operations teams. You will be responsible for shaping our overall product strategy and roadmap, working closely with the executive team to support the achievement of company business objectives.

The candidate should have a strong product management & strategy background with experience leading teams. A great product leader sits at the intersection of business, technology, and design. They will be expected to provide business teams with strategic advice on leveraging technology and data to drive key business outcomes – increased revenue, cost reduction, and increased employee productivity. You’ll be customer-obsessed, strategic, detail-oriented, and highly creative driving with the following primary responsibilities- 

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in digital data product management and/or data compliance product management 

• Significant growth-stage startup experience 

• Impeccable track record of creating innovative and winning B2B solutions 

• Can articulate a vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a team and focuses their energy on achieving business goals 

• Skilled in providing analysis and estimation of the strategic and financial value of new products and features 

• Deep understanding on data management, compliance and security market 

• Understand the development and implementation of data governance workflow inside enterprises 

• Deep knowledge on different type of data management, governance and security products 

• Good understanding on legal and compliances requirements for data governance workflow, 

• GDPR, CCPA etc. 

• Strong and referenceable tracking record of partnering with high performing engineering teams 

• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills 

Responsibilities 

• Develop product strategy and roadmap based on market intelligence, customer feedback, differentiating capabilities, and close collaboration with Engineering and Design teams. 

• Understand and prioritize projects from various inputs (customer feedback, business need and technology capabilities) so the team is always working on the most impactful projects. 

• Identifies the best options for compelling, easy to use software through functional analysis 

• Closely partner with engineering to understand technical trade-offs and architecture in order to successfully influence product design 

• Define quantitative and qualitative success metrics and constantly evaluate if your solutions have solved the business problem or created business value through these metrics, both before and after their release. 

• Deliver insightful product recommendations to business leaders and the executive team in a persuasive and thoughtful manner 

• Responsible for business case development/cost benefit analysis/ROI analysis to help in product prioritization efforts 

• Develop in person and virtual conversations to understand users, priorities and design considerations 

• Enable our field by providing content that can be used by the Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams
